Away From the Computer and Into the Rack! (Posted Jan 27, 2024)

While I’m in front of the screen most of the time. We went to the main server rack for some upgrades!

We installed a new server into this rack to grow our storage capacity for a client and retire some old servers. Myself and my co-worker Jesse worked on this task and we absolutely enjoyed working on this project. My team at Fox Tech just began overseeing the Miami site for a client of ours who has other sites out of state and we work with the head of IT of this client who is not primarily assigned to Miami.

The environment pertains to refining where there is the refining/factory area in one area of the building and then there is the upscale commercial office space. It’s a great environment as we help both the commercial side of our client and also assist with the computers and software of the industrial side as well.
