In-person team meetings happen on Friday. For sure my favorite time of the week is talking tech and solving the needs of our clients. One of the Fridays we talked about Veeam as one of my coworkers attended the Veeam conference in Fort Lauderdale. Veeam is a powerful tool for backing up our client’s information (to those who choose this option). The great thing about Veeam is that we are able to create backup jobs on client servers to back up their data. We can decide how often to back up their data, how many copies are saved of their data. Disposal Time – Networking Equipment (Posted March 7, 2024)
We completed a major clean out in addition to decommissioning a site for a big client of ours. As you can see by all the equipment behind me. The equipment right next to me are all massive server specific UPS’s. Additionally, as you can see further behind me there are switches, pile of servers, in addition to other NVR equipment. With the amount of equipment needing to be disposed we are completing the load outs in waves as we are completing very specific paperwork on the assets of the devices needing to be recorded on their value and approval for being disposed of. Away From the Computer and Into the Rack! (Posted Jan 27, 2024)
While I’m in front of the screen most of the time. We went to the main server rack for some upgrades! We installed a new server into this rack to grow our storage capacity for a client and retire some old servers. Myself and my co-worker Jesse worked on this task and we absolutely enjoyed working on this project. My team at Fox Tech just began overseeing the Miami site for a client of ours who has other sites out of state and we work with the head of IT of this client who is not primarily assigned to Miami. Working With Server Hard Drives! (Posted Sep 4, 2023)
Hitting the ground running! The first day working with my boss, he had me putting together a server and cleaning up these SAS hard drives. The server we were putting together will be a server on site for a client. This experience was the most direct experience I had working with servers and their hard drives and I have really enjoyed getting my hands on with these and getting into the BIOS for a new server.

Focusing on Azure (Posted July 22, 2023)
A few weeks ago I added two more books to my library which are Azure Fundamentals Az-900 and Microsoft Certified Associate AZ104. My journey working with Azure began when I started the IT Professional course with Course Careers and since I have had experience working with Azure I decided to keep going down the Azure path over AWS and Google.
