Focusing on Azure (Posted July 22, 2023)

A few weeks ago I added two more books to my library which are Azure Fundamentals Az-900 and Microsoft Certified Associate AZ104. My journey working with Azure began when I started the IT Professional course with Course Careers and since I have had experience working with Azure I decided to keep going down the Azure path over AWS and Google. I realize the each cloud provider seeks to reach the same goal and there are different interfaces and also AWS is the biggest cloud provider, but for me learning and with experience in one of the main cloud providers I decided to just keep going down the Azure path.

I’m half way through Azure Fundamentals right now and it has been helpful, and yet a repeat in many ways of what I have been taught. I plan to take the Azure Fundamentals Certificate here soon and begin working on the AZ-104 after. I intend to pair both Azure study and CompTIA A+ together at this time.

I have also been supplementing my learning watching Adam Marczak’s videos on YouTube which have been helpful to get another source and learning input method. You can find Adam’s first video here on YouTube.
