My other desk!!!

I have not shown off this beauty yet on my blog. This desk is similar to my other desk at the Fox Tech office, however it is located at one of our client sites (our biggest client), this office space is assigned specific to me. Our contract includes an on site technician most days of the week. This includes assisting users which is both a commercial and factory setting. Normally I am assigned to this location most days for Fox Tech. This is really a great move for me to grow in more opportunities and obtain direct IT experience in a corporate environment.

My overall mission at Fox Tech is to serve our important clients. These different types of clients are located: school, law enforcement, lawyers and attorneys, property management, minting and industrial, security and surveillance, merchandising, a large condominium offices. Additionally there are the service calls when I go on site to assist pertaining to network, UPS, Wi-Fi, IP cameras/NVR, and other computer issues. Additionally my supervisor continues to give me more responsibilities in provisioning new equipment to clients, creating new procedures, auditing life-cycle data, and adding knowledge base material.

The MSP life is certainly a wide mixture of activity and learning! I’m handling different aspects of my work to include speaking with users in person at their computer, assisting users remotely with different issues to include line of business applications, and not to mention the hands on time with computers, servers, routers, and other network devices. Each day is full, from the start to the end, there seems to always be more that you could have done, but it’s rewarding being in the fire of it all as I help people, growing my learning, and accomplishing much.
