Starting New Certificate – Google IT Support Professional (Posted July 15, 2023)

Yesterday I made a decision in a new step! Not as big of a decision as a career adjustment, but a time commitment in continuous growth of my tech knowledge and skills. I decided to make an account on Coursera and begin working on the the Google IT Support Professional Certificate.

I have seen this certificate come up frequently through CourseCareers discord, and I have heard from others who have landed jobs that the Google IT Support Professional really helps with working on the experience skills and labs which I find to be one of the most help aspects to more concretely express my skills.

My first impressions is that I really like how they are going through the basics of technologies history which is a good refresher for me. One thing I really enjoyed was going through the steps of putting together a computer. All the parts to putting a computer together can seem overwhelming, but they really helped provide the framework to piecing it together.
